This super soft sleepy baby snuggly set set consists of a baby sleeping bag and matching hat. It buttons at both the feet and neck allowing you to make those nighttime changes with minimum disturbance.
It was designed for my step-daughter who is expecting her first baby. She wanted a sleeping bag as it is easy for a baby to kick off a blanket but should stay nice and warm in this.
It is made in Sirdar Snuggly Snowflake Chunky which is the softest feeling yarn, perfect for bedtime cuddles. The bag uses a circular needle as it is knitted in the round with some sections knitted flat.
The hat uses either a circular or straight needles, whichever you are happy with as it is knitted flat and then seamed at the end. The top of the hat is worked as an i-cord and this is where you will need dpns.
The set takes around 150-300g of chunky weight yarn.

I wanted to make a blanket that was delicate enough to wrap a baby in as soon as they are born. Something that would look beautiful to bring the baby home in or to wrap them in whilst they sleep in the pram or cot.
This blanket has a delicate ‘dot’ stitch which gives the effect of lace without having lots of holes that tiny fingers and toes can get stuck in.
It is one size and takes approx 200g of 4ply baby yarn.

This Clodah Cabled wrap pattern was first published in issue 50 of Knit Now magazine. The cables create a stunning and eye catching pattern.
The pattern includes both charted and written instructions for the cables.
It is knitted flat in one piece, all the borders are knitted as you go. As it is made using a large number of stitches you may prefer to use a long circular needle.
It is the perfect accessory to wear over party or wedding outfits, but is also a wonderfully welcome addition to any wardrobe for popping over your shoulders with a casual outfit if the weather isn’t as warm as it should be.
