Umbrella Boot Cuffs Pattern by Emma Sadler Designs

These boot cuffs are ideal to brighten up any pair of boots. They are quick to knit up and could be done in an evening in front of the TV. They feature a cute umbrella motif which can be done in any contrasting colour you like. A great first project for using the intarsia method.

The pattern has been professionally tech edited and test knitted. It also includes a schematic for the shorts and hat.

Umbrella Boot Cuffs, Boot Toppers Pattern Gallery

As always, when I’m knitting for the knitworthy members of my family or dear friends, I consider how they’re going to wear it, wash it, the colours they love and what styles they wear.

“Love the pattern, it’s much easy and looks amazing! “

Carlota Cabled Boot Toppers by Emma Sadler

Carlota Cabled Boot Toppers by Emma Sadler

Carlota Cabled Boot Toppers by Emma Sadler Designs

I’m so excited for you to see the Carlota Cabled Boot Toppers, they’re such a quick and fun knit and I loved making these and the matching Carlota Cabled Cowl. The boot toppers or boot cuffs are knitted flat and worked sideways with a seam to join them once the knitting is finished. You can adjust size easily to fit a larger leg but adding length at this stage, but make sure you have sufficient yarn if you do.

Boot Cuffs are great to wear with my leather boots and help to cushion the skin from any rubbing or hard edges on your boots, they also keep your legs warm.

Are you looking for your first cabled knitting pattern?
Are you looking for a pattern ideal for a beginner or great for knitting in front of the TV?
Do you want something quick and easy to knit or a quick gift to make? Try a pair of Boot Toppers for a quick and satisfying win. The Carlota design is super quick and only uses a small amount of yarn.

This Carlota Boot Toppers pattern consists of two sizes – small and large. Details in the table below.

Criss Coss Boot Toppers by Emma Sadler Designs

These Double Dutch boot toppers or boot cuffs are designed to match the headband and cowl using the same cable pattern.

They are knitted flat, the ribbed section uses pick up and knit then they are seamed at the end.

The cabled pattern is very effective, but deceptively easy. You will soon pick up the repeating pattern. This means that this is the ideal project for working on whilst you are watching the TV.

It is also quite quick to knit up so would make a great last minute gift if you fnd yourself needing to whip something up from your stash.

Crush It with the Corn Rows Cabled Boot Toppers

Crush It with the Corn Rows Cabled Boot Toppers

Crush It with the Corn Rows Cabled Boot Toppers by Emma Sadler Designs

The Corn Rows Cabled Boot Toppers were designed to match the very popular Corn Rows Cabled Headband. They are knitted flat and seamed at the end. The cabled section is knitted first and the stitches for the ribbing are picked up and knitted at the end.

The cabled pattern is very effective, but deceptively easy. You will soon pick up the repeating pattern. The boot toppers are the ideal project for working on whilst you are watching the TV or to have in your project bag as a travel project. I often have something easy like this with me for appointments, football practice and when I’m acting as a Taxi for the kids. The Cabled Boot Toppers are also quite quick to knit up so would make a great last minute gift if you find yourself needing to whip something up from your stash.

You will be able to knit the pair from a 100g ball of aran weight yarn.
