Clan Fraser Boot Cuffs by Emma Sadler Designs

The Clan Fraser boot cuffs are really quick to knit up. They are perfect for a beginner project. They are also ideal to make if you want an easier project in between some bigger ones.

They will be finished in an evening so are great to make in front of the TV on a cold autumn or winter evening.

Forgotten a gift for someone? No worries! These are so quick to knit and you are bound to have some yarn in your stash that will be just right for them. They take just 70g, or around 110 yards.

The simple stitch pattern is great for showing of self-patterning yarn.

Diamond Lace Boot Cuffs by Emma Sadler

Diamond Lace Boot Cuffs by Emma Sadler Designs

These cute little Diamond Lace boot cuffs, or boot toppers, are a fabulous project to knit if you would like to try your hand at lace for the first time.

They come in one size but are quite stretchy so will fit over the top of your favourite boots or to brighten up an old pair you have stuck in the garage.

Based on a stitch pattern from traditional Shetland Lace they have a base of all knit stitches. You will quickly pick up the repeated pattern.

They knit up quite quickly so are ideal to give as a quick gift. You could make them in just one or two evenings in front of the TV. And the pair take less than one ball of 100g yarn!

Instructions included are both written and charted.

Corn Rows Cabled Cowl by Emma Sadler

Corn Rows Cabled Cowl by Emma Sadler

Corn Rows Cabled Cowl by Emma Sadler Designs

The Corn Rows Cabled cowl was designed to match the very popular Corn Rows Cabled Headband and boot toppers which are also available in my pattern store. It is knitted flat and seamed at the end.

The cabled pattern is very effective, but deceptively easy. You will soon pick up the repeating pattern. This means that this is the ideal project for working on whilst you are watching the TV.

It is also quite quick to knit up so would make a great last minute gift if you find yourself needing to whip something up from your stash.

The cowl takes 85g of aran weight yarn so it is a great project for using up that left over ball.

Criss Cross Cabled Cowl by Emma Sadler

Criss Cross Cabled Cowl by Emma Sadler Designs

This Criss Cross Cabled cowl is simple yet eye catching in it’s construction as it is knitted fast and seamed at the end. It includes both written and charted instructions.

Perran Yarns have offered an exclusive discount code for purchasers of this pattern. The code is included in the pattern.

The cabled pattern is very effective, using both knit and purl stitches to create a cable within a cable effect. It is a split cable which will keep your interest if you are looking for an unusual cable. It is a little more challenging at first, but you will soon pick up the repeating pattern.

It is also quite quick to knit up so would make a great last minute gift. Bigger sizes are achieved by repeating the rows at the beginning and end which will ensure the cable is still in the middle of the cowl.

The cowl takes around 85g to 100g of aran weight yarn. It is perfect for the changing seasons and would make a quick, yet loved gift.

Carlota Cabled Boot Toppers by Emma Sadler

Carlota Cabled Boot Toppers by Emma Sadler Designs

I’m so excited for you to see the Carlota Cabled Boot Toppers, they’re such a quick and fun knit and I loved making these and the matching Carlota Cabled Cowl. The boot toppers or boot cuffs are knitted flat and worked sideways with a seam to join them once the knitting is finished. You can adjust size easily to fit a larger leg but adding length at this stage, but make sure you have sufficient yarn if you do.

Boot Cuffs are great to wear with my leather boots and help to cushion the skin from any rubbing or hard edges on your boots, they also keep your legs warm.
