Baby Rocky Photo-prop Pattern by Emma Sadler Designs
I designed Baby Rocky Photo-prop set for my step-grandson to wear in his first ever professional photo shoot. His mum wanted something cute and memorable. The outfit is designed to look like a boxer’s, with long shorts, boots, a head protector and boxing gloves. There is an added lace up detail as would be seen on a vintage style boxer’s kit.
Designed to be worn by a newborn to 3 month old baby to be photographed in rather than everyday wear, this set only comes in one size which is purposefully oversized. Photo prop clothing sets are becoming more popular with parents when having their baby’s professional photos taken.
The finished set takes around 120g of DK weight yarn. I used slightly more red than white, but feel free to mix this around as you prefer.

As always, when I’m knitting for the knitworthy members of my family or dear friends, I consider how they’re going to wear it, wash it, the colours they love and what styles they wear.
“Love the pattern, it’s much easy and looks amazing! “
